Venture Capital Funding
incTANK focuses on the critical gap between innovation and commercial execution, an underserved investment stage where our technical skills and management expertise are best utilized. Our typical initial investment is between $250,000 and $1 million, with a reserve for follow-on investments. We leverage our funding with co-investments from a network of qualified angel investors, venture capital firms, and strategic corporate partners. incTANK also has relationships with lending agents, leasing companies and investment banks that can support portfolio companies through their next stages of growth.
Strategic Advice
incTANK invests in smart teams, but we also bring in our own areas of expertise and experience. The incTANK team understands the challenges faced by technology startups that are making the transition from research lab to commercialization. We assist in refining business plans, improving executive presentations, developing marketing plans, and identifying execution strategies. incTANK also helps secure research commercialization grants from state and federal sources that provide both helpful financial support and valuable recognition.
Team Building
Many emerging start-ups with limited resources face the challenge of attracting experienced senior talent. incTANK helps portfolio companies identify critical hiring needs, and then leverages our network of relationships to locate, evaluate, and recruit experienced executives to the management team, advisory board and board of directors.

The first customer is the most valuable customer, and strategic partners can create instant credibility. However, the early- stage start-up often lacks access to such industry players. The incTANK team has a broad network through which portfolio companies can access potential customers and corporate partners. We can also leverage our local expertise and professional networks in Boston, Tokyo and elsewhere to assist start-ups in finding international partners and overseas customers. incTANK’s partners include several large multinational corporations and foreign technology investors.
Professional Services Network
